Meetings are suspended at the two Universities from the beginning of January 2011 due to personal circumstances. This website will be updated when they resume.

Please note that there will be no Amida Newcastle meeting on the evening of January 11th, as Sujatin is away and Kuvalaya is conducting a funeral.
There will be no meetings at Newcastle and Northumbria Universities during the week beginning January 10th.
We will advise you as to meetings during the week commencing January 17th nearer the time.

During December 2009 there will be no meetings at Amida Newcastle, Newcastle University and Northumbria University
We will be in Narborough, at the Bodhi Retreat. During this time Rachel Abel will be ordained as a Buddhist priest in the Amida Order - a Ganko-sha. Please keep her in your thoughts, particularly on December 9th between 7:30 and 9 am.
Amida Newcastle meetings resume on the evening of January 5th 2010.

Beyond Guilt - an evening with Caroline Brazier, 19th May 2009
Spend an evening with psychotherapy trainer and author, Caroline
Brazier, on her return visit to the N.E., where she lived for over 20
years. Her talk will be based on the subject matter of her latest book
‘Guilt, an Exploration’: ‘a journey into areas of life which both
fascinate and repel us. Weaving together an account of a group of young
people, fine grained analysis of the emotional and ethical basis of
guilt, and illustrations draw from a variety of life circumstances, she
examines the complexity of a subject which troubles many people in the
modern world. She deals sensitively with some of the most challenging
areas of human experience, while retaining a joy in life. At times both
humorous and emotive, her book reveals the beauty of the everyday and
the pathos of the ordinary.’
