Monday meetings this autumn

Monday evening meetings will continue at the usual time - 7:30 - 9:30pm at Amida Sanctuary. (It's good to arrive about 10 minutes early, if possible).

This autumn we will continue with the Introduction to Pureland Buddhism course on some evenings and, on others, will be listening to the recordings of the series of talks Dharmavidya gave at Amida France in July on the Larger Pureland Sutra.

Yesterday evening we listened to the first part of the first talk. Below you will find a precis of the part we listened to:

News from Amida Sanctuary 10th July

At present we are catching up with the Introduction to Pureland Buddhism course: last Monday we covered Lessons 4 & 5 and we'll continue tonight. It's always good to go back to basics every now and again. These lessons give rise to interesting discussions.

Sally, who has joined the Buddhist House community, travelled with them to Amida France at the end of last week. You'll find links to news from Dharmavidya here

As you will see, I'm not able to be in France this summer. However Dharmavidya's Dharma talks on "The Sukhavativyuha Sutra: The Pureland Manifesto" will be recorded and we'll be starting  to listen to them in due course.

Please feel welcome to join us at Amida Sanctuary for any of the Monday evening meetings (7:30 - 9:30 pm) - it's not necessary for you to come every week, although it's nice if you do. It's so nourishing to meet up as a sangha.

Looking forward to seeing you or hearing from you
