International Lunch at Northumbria's New Chaplaincy

International Lunch is held each Thursday in term-time between 12pm and 1.30pm, providing an opportunity to make friends with students from differing nations and cultures. The lunch includes hot vegetarian soup, fresh rolls and yummy cake, and costs only £3.

Encounter - a new interfaith dialogue group - first meeting

We are launching 'Encounter', a new interfaith dialogue group open to Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist students (and those interested in interfaith dialogue). The focus is on listening and learning from one another, leading to growth in mutual understanding and respect. Do come and along and join us for our Launch Day. Free refreshments!

International Lunch is starting again on 2nd October.

This is a weekly term-time event where the Chaplaincy provides a buffet lunch for students from Britain and overseas. Lunches are held every Thursday during term-time from 12.15 to 1.45 pm in Claude Gibb Hall, City Campus.

The charge is £1.50 for a filled roll (for example - ham, cheese and pickle or egg mayonnaise) with tea or coffee. We meet in the Claude Gibb Hall. Many friendships have developed from these meetings. This lunchtime session is very popular.
