The bathroom

The bathroom has a shower over the bath, handbasin, bathroom cabinet, built in chest of drawers, toilet and a heated towel rail. Hot water for the lodge is heated by gas - the boiler is in a built in cupboard in the bathroom, where you will also find cleaning materials.

Hot water

Hot water is on demand in the bathroom and kitchen, from the water heater in the floor to ceiling cupboard in the bathroom. NB the water comes out cold and under pressure for the first few seconds.

If using the shower remove the shower head from the holder and point down into the bath so you are not blasted with cold water. Pull the D shaped ring towards you. You can turn this to adjust the temperature after a few seconds. When the flow and heat are to your liking, replace into the holder.

Taking care with the drains

There have been problems with the drains blocking on the park, due to what has been put down them, which then have to be fixed by Retro Cleanse, only to block again.

Please help the park avoid this.

What not to put down the loo or sinks:
fat, kitchen and baby wipes, kitchen roll, 'Charmin' loo paper.

Heating and cooling

Heating
There are electric radiators in the bedrooms and dining area and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Please turn off when you leave.

There is a gas fire in the living area. Push down and turn the temperature knob to the igniting mark and hold down - push the igniting button, continuing to hold down the temperature knob for about 20 seconds. You can now adjust this to the temperature you like. The lodge heats up very quickly.

Cooling
In the summer close the curtains and blinds during the day on the side of the lodge where the steps are. This will help to keep the lodge cooler. There is an electric tabletop fan stored in the cupboard above the head of the double bed.
