Noam Chomsky Film
Distorted Morality: America's War on Terror?
Tues 4 May, 5:30 & 8pm, £3.50 suggested donation
The Side Cinema, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK website
Following the hugely popular showings of two Chomsky films in the
last two seasons ......
we bring you another from the Granddaddy of radical
activism. Chomsky states that US has supported, through arms trading
and military intervention, many corrupt, human rights-violating
regimes in the interests of maintaining a death-grip on world energy
resources. He also presents the idea that the idea of a war on terror
is a logical impossibility.

Membership & Entry
We are a membership organisation, so you need to join, which only
costs £1 for the year (Oct 03 to Sept 04). As a member you will
receive regular information about films, especially if you give us
your email address. We try to keep entry prices low, and no one will
be turned away for lack of funds. Because we are a small setup, we're
sorry but we don't sell tickets in advance (but turning up 15 minutes
early should mean you get in). Side Cinema welcomes UK asylum seekers
and offers them free entry to all films
Access
If you need financial assistance with the cost of childcare to be
able to come to see a film, please contact us in advance as we can
usually help. The cinema (and toilet) is wheelchair accessible. We do
not have a hearing loop system.
How to find the cinema
The Side Cinema is on Newcastle's quayside, next to Side Cafe, 9
Side, Newcastle, NE1 3JE. If you walk down Dean Street, past the
Crown Posada, you should see a sign on the pavement on your right.
