the blogisattva awards - three amida blogs are in the shortlists

The second Blogisattva Awards are coming up and three of my sangha have been nominated!

Dharmavidya
is in the category Best Achievement Blogging on Buddhist Practice or Dharma

Gareth, from The Buddhist House, is in Best Achievement in Wonderful, Remarkable, Elegant Design

and I'm in Best Achievement with Use of Quotations in a Blog (blushes modestly, clashing with red clothes)

Should any of you care to look  this would be lovely - all in the cause of spreading Pureland Buddhism, of course!

Unlike the Oscars there won't actually be a personal ceremony - and anyway Buddhists don't have to worry about what dress to wear. It's red cotton for us! You wouldn't be able to see us on the red carpet.

Oh, but Dharmavidya and I are both up against the wonderful Tyson :-(

It seems you can't vote - this is done by a Select Group of fellow Buddhist bloggers. Do check out the categories - there are some very fine blogs there
