I'll probably set off early, 7ish, and have breakfast when I've got a few miles under my belt. It's going to take me about 8 hours to get to my daughter's, which is a long time for me and will be very draining. I don't usually make the whole trip in one day but I have to meet up with the groom on Wednesday.
I'm sorry to be leaving Peter - we went to the hospital today (which is why I didn't go down south earlier) and he had his dressings removed. The scars are going to be about 4" long, and he has an infection in the wound that goes from near the inner corner of his eye, down the side of his nose, and down to his mouth. So we had to go back to the hospital again, mid afternoon, to pick up some antibiotics. He'll be having his stitches out on Friday.
As far as the wedding is concerned, I have 108 booklets of the Order of Service which I printed, collated and stapled this morning, and three wedding service books - for the bellmaster, the bridesmaid and me. Also outfit, robes, mala, bells of differing sizes, 150m of ribbon, offering bowls, jug, candles, incense, small carpet for making prostrations on.....so I think I'm ready.
Time for bed.
