This morning I took part in a workshop taught by Sheila Roussel at Nest, Blairgowrie. There were eight of us in the group, with varying degrees of experience from none upwards. Sheila was extremely patient and good natured as she led us through all the skills of design, then embossing with hammers and stamps, cutting (my, those little saw blades are prone to break!), filing, sanding and polishing. A lovely morning as part of a very happy group.
This was a super birthday gift from my daughter, Rachel, which I've been waiting to take since May of last year - for family reasons. She wanted me to have an experience rather than an object - and I've ended up with both!
