Steve

I am in the process of reading "The Feeling Buddha," and I, like you find it tremendously compelling and liberating -- a very refreshing interpretation of Buddha's teachings. (I always found it difficult to accept that Buddha was telling us that an enlightened person has eliminated all dukkha by eliminating all selfish attachments. What about dukkha which is unavoidable such as death or a change, such as the end of a relationship, imposed upon us by someone else.) However, having said all this, I also wonder if Brazier's interpretation is really what Buddha had in mind. Can you help me on this one? What are your thoughts?
