Not my words, just those in the morning paper. and eloquent they are. i first read "chemotherapy" in "being alive" - the follow up to "staying alive" edited by neil astley. the latter is worth the price of the book for the polemical essay that introduces the anthology. wonderful stuff! "chemotherapy" is a great poem, but the last 2 lines make it sublime. i will look forward to discovering more of her poetry, being more familiar with her 2 novels.
