This morning I went for a biomechanical assessment (not at this centre) to look at the arthritis in my L foot - it seems I have Hallux rigidus.
Oh the joys of ageing! As it's too advanced for any other treatment, it
looks like surgery for me. And, because I have M.E., I'm not too good
with general anaesthetics, it'll be with local anaesthetic. Not
something to look forward to (the whine of the saw! As a radiographer
in a previous phase of my life, I've been in orthopaedic
surgery). But maybe I'll be springing around like a spring lamb
